Youth in Worship

Children are an important part of our church and worship services!

Youth in worship – Children are always welcome in worship. We have a “children’s message” during the first 10-15 minutes of church where all children are welcome to sit on the steps of the altar and listen to the pastor’s message. The Pastor often reads a story or acts out a message with her stuffed animals, “Carlos, Winnie and Ellie”! We also have “busy bags” containing crayons, paper and books for children to use during worship as well as Children’s Bulletins for ages eight and up.

Youth lead worship!  Once a month, on every 3rd Sunday, we have Youth Sunday where children and youth help lead worship by reading scriptures, lighting the candles, receiving the offering plates and greeting people before the service. They often provide special music as well, either with Tone Chimes or singing. (see Youth Music)

Nursery available  – We have a staffed nursery for infants through age 7. The nursery is available during Sunday school and worship.
