Welcome Pastor Christman

Dear Baraboo First UMC Members and Friends,

My name is Rev. Cathy Christman, and I am excited to accept the appointment as your new Pastor starting July 1, 2022. I was recently introduced to the SPRC, the church and parsonage, and can’t wait to call Baraboo home.

I am married to my spouse, Mike. We have been married for 16 years this year. He is currently employed with the Department of Transportation in Madison. I am completing my 15th year under appointment and have served churches in both Michigan and Wisconsin. We are proud parents of the “Pastor Pups,” Braunie and Daisy; our miniature dachshunds. Our parents live in the Milwaukee area as well as northern lower Michigan.

In our spare time, we enjoy spending time with our family, anything related to Wisconsin sports, and cooking. We love being active in our church and our community!

We are looking forward to meeting you all and beginning a new season of ministry together! I am praying for you, for Pastor Park and his family, and ask you to pray for us and our current congregation in this season of transition.
