Mark 1:1-13 Disciples choose to pay attention to the good news of Jesus Christ (instead of the good news of “the empire”).
Mark 1:21-45 Disciples take the authority given to us by God to oppose evil.
Mark 2:23-3:6 Disciples keep alive Jesus’ vision of the kingdom of God (life as God intends it to be).
Mark 4:26-34 Disciples know the coming of the kingdom of God isn’t up to us. We do our small part and trust God will take care of the rest.

Mark 8:27-9:8 Disciples live authentically (always seeking to close the gap between what we say and what we do).

Mark 14:1-9 Disciples do beautiful things: the right thing at the right time.
Mark 16:1-8 Disciples trust that God is faithful and that Jesus is who he says he is. And that is good news indeed!
