June 10th – Annual Conference In-Gathering (2015)

We are again participating in the Wisconsin Annual Conference’s Mission In-Gathering.  We will be donating items for the Midwest Mission Distribution Center’s bedding kits.  These kits will be distributed to victims of floods, hurricanes and other natural disasters by the United Methodist Committee on Relief.

The bedding kits include:

  • ·         2 flat double-bed sheets
  • ·         2 pillow cases
  • ·         2 pillows.

All items should be new and unused and in their original plastic bags. You can donate one or two items, or a complete kit. Shipping donation is $1.  Checks to cover shipping costs can be made out to the church; please put “Bedding kits” in the memo space. Please bring your contributions to the church no later than June 10th and place in the receptacle in Fellowship Hall. Thank you for your support, making it possible for us as United Methodists to “the hands and feet of Christ.”

June 13th – Bicycling Group

Saturday June 13, we will be cycling on the “400 State Trail” from the trail head at 240 Railroad St., Reedsburg starting at 10 am and ending around noon. We will be riding northwest on the trail towards LaValle.  Be aware that trail passes are required for cyclists which can be obtained at the Trail Headquarters on the day of the ride at the cost of $4.00.  If you would like to join us but do not have a bicycle, our Church family does have some available for use.  Walkers are welcome too. Summer Food Service Program

This summer the Baraboo School District will again take part in the federally funded Summer Food Service Program.  There will be 3 sites we will be serving in plus we will be delivering meals to the Boys and Girls Club.  The meals are free to all children 18 years and younger.  Any adults accompanying the children that choose to eat will be charged $2.00 for breakfast and $3.00 for lunch.  You do not have to be attending Summer School to take part in this program.  The program will run from June 22, 2015 to July 17, 2015, Monday thru Friday.

GLW:     Open only to Kid Stop Program Kids serving breakfast and lunch.

BHS:       Breakfast daily from 7 to 8:30 AM/ Lunch daily from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM

ABE:       Breakfast from 7:30 – 8:30 AM.

Lunch daily from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM.
